Dimraeth Co-op Guide
Dimraeth supports solo play and online co-op for up to eight players, with one player's world carrying the shared story and building state.
§Choose the host#
The FAQ describes peer-to-peer multiplayer with no dedicated server support. The host's world is the campaign state your group advances, so consistency matters when the group cares about one shared stronghold and story.

- Choose a dependable host
- Agree when the shared world advances
- Keep backup expectations realistic for a peer-to-peer session
§Know what travels#
The Steam page says character level, equipment, inventory, and spells move with the character. Story state, NPCs, and buildings remain attached to the world. That split lets a character visit friends without copying the host's campaign.
- Character power travels
- World changes stay with the host world
- Repeat world-bound objectives when playing elsewhere
§Current multiplayer limits#
The official FAQ supports up to eight online players. It also says there is no local or split-screen co-op and no dedicated server option. Solo play remains supported.
- Online co-op: up to eight
- Local split-screen: unavailable
- Dedicated servers: unavailable
§Set up a campaign session#
Choose the host before anyone starts story or building progress. Then agree on the session goal: advance a main route, collect materials, work on the stronghold, or help one character catch up. A shared goal keeps eight-player freedom from turning into eight separate routes.
Players joining with established characters should compare equipment and spell strength with the host world's current area. Portable progress is convenient, though a large power gap can make encounters trivial for one player and frustrating for another.
- Confirm the host
- Name the session goal
- Group before a world-bound objective
- Check character power gaps
§When the group gets separated#
Stop advancing the main objective and regroup at a landmark everyone can identify. Use Earlwood, the stronghold, or a recently opened route marker as the meeting point. If the party entered different world states, return to the intended host and confirm the active quest before repeating steps.
- Pause the objective
- Choose one visible landmark
- Return to the intended host world
- Recheck the active quest state
§FAQ#
Can I play alone?
Yes. Solo play is supported.
Does the game have split-screen?
The official FAQ says local and split-screen co-op are not available.

No. The Steam page places buildings with world progress.
