Dimraeth Map and Regions Guide
Use the map to preserve orientation and return routes. Treat unexplored space as a decision, not an obligation to clear every edge immediately.
§Starter-region anchors#
The current Steam page names a starter path from the Lost Caverns through Earlwood Village into Wildwood Forest. These locations give the opening a readable spine even when you pause for side paths.

- Lost Caverns: learn the opening
- Earlwood: orient around NPCs and services
- Wildwood: prepare for denser exploration and combat
§Build a return network#
A useful map habit is to remember where recovery, crafting, NPCs, and safe transitions sit relative to the current objective. That reduces repeated travel and prevents a full inventory from interrupting a difficult route.
- Mark service hubs
- Open shortcuts when visible
- Return before supplies become a problem
§Map progress in co-op#
Story, NPCs, and buildings remain with the world. A location you opened in one host's world may still need to be reached or advanced in another.
- Ask which world owns the campaign
- Do not assume a visited landmark equals shared story completion
- Keep character and world objectives separate
§Explore in loops#
Pick a recognizable anchor, follow one branch until supplies or visibility worsen, then return by a different nearby path when possible. This creates a loop that reveals shortcuts and resource clusters without leaving the character far from every known service.
A blank edge on the map is not automatically the next priority. Quests, equipment readiness, and the host world's current progress should decide which unexplored direction is useful now.
- Start from a named anchor
- Follow one branch
- Return through a nearby path
- Record useful services and shortcuts
§Recover when the route becomes unclear#
Return to the last landmark you can name, then open the map and compare the objective with the paths that are already understood. Avoid pushing deeper just to find a new landmark. That often adds another uncertain route while recovery and inventory are already under pressure.
- Stop at a recognizable location
- Check the objective region
- Choose the shortest known return
- Restock before reopening the unknown branch
§Continue through World#
Choose the world system that currently controls your route.
§FAQ#
Is this a complete interactive map?
No. It is a route and region guide built around confirmed starter anchors.
Does map progress follow my character?
World-bound story, NPC, and building progress stays with the host world.
